Meet Monica

Hi and Welcome! I'm Monica, and I'd love to partner with you on your journey to optimal health. I'm passionate about helping women discover the root causes of their health struggles and reclaim their vitality through functional nutrition.
As a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association since 2019, I bring both clinical knowledge and personal experience to every client I work with.
My health journey has been quite the rollercoaster — full of unexpected twists and challenges that completely transformed how I see wellness. In my late twenties, I faced thyroid issues, poor sleep patterns, and fibroids. I was searching for answers, but conventional medicine alone wasn't giving me the deeper solutions I needed. Fast forward to my mid-thirties, and I experienced a major breakdown of my immune system in the form of Type 1 diabetes. That's when everything shifted for me. I realized my body was trying to tell me something — that I needed a different approach to health. Now I'm in a new chapter...menopause. As my hormones shift, I have to shift. Shift the food that I eat, my movement and my sleep.

That's when I found the Nutritional Therapy Association, and honestly, it was transformative. I discovered that real healing doesn't come from Band-Aids — it comes from digging deep, asking the hard questions, and understanding how food actually works as medicine in your body. Today, I'm a Certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and I'm obsessed with helping my clients uncover what's really going on beneath the surface of their symptoms. I'm fiercely dedicated to empowering people to reclaim their health and become unapologetically their best selves.
Fun fact about me — I'm a believer that food is medicine, and every single choice we make with our nutrition matters. I love experimenting with recipes and creating nourishing meals that support the body's natural healing abilities. Whether it's discovering new superfoods, creating my own kombucha, or crafting balanced meals, I'm always exploring how to make nutrition work better for my clients and myself.
